Benjamin Wingett received a culinary art degree from the Oregon Culinary Institute where in 2008 he was honored with the President’s Award. He was the executive chef at Black Cow Fat Pig Pub and Steak in Norfolk, Nebraska and the chef garde manger at V-Mertz in Omaha. During his residency he completed an apprenticeship in the art of butchery and currently practices poi performance in his free time.

Benjamin Wingett recibió un título en arte culinario del Oregon Culinary Institute, donde en 2008 fue honrado con el Premio del Presidente. Fue chef ejecutivo en Black Cow Fat Pig Pub and Steak en Norfolk, Nebraska, y chef garde manger en V-Mertz, Omaha. Durante su residencia completó un aprendizaje en el arte de la carnicería y actualmente practica poi performance (malabar carioca) en su tiempo libre.
